Each month an archived example project animation will be highlighted here. Currently we are featuring BBC 21st Century Classroom - in the Autumn Term of 2002 Cloth of Gold were asked to provide the Art/ICT curriculum input into the BBC's new 21st Century Classroom.
As well as providing Inset for Secondary and Primary school teachers Cloth of Gold worked with Kevin Mathieson to run a creative six week course with year 5 pupils from All Souls Primary School, Westminster.

Debden Park School
This Photoshop and Screenprinting workshop was run over two half days. The first day focused on screenprints inspired by music and performance classes the pupils had previously attended as part of their curriculum. As most of the students had screenprinted musical instruments they were then photographed imagining how they could interact with them. The second session was solely Photoshop based and these wonderful digital images were produced.

Recently Cloth of Gold renewed their partnership with the Horniman Museum completing a long term London-wide community project linked to the launch of the museum's important new temporary exhibition 'Amazon to Caribbean'. The museum also commissioned Cloth of Gold to produce a website documenting the whole project and this is now online at:

Islington City Learning Centre Easter Photoshop Project
Islington City Learning Centre - Easter Photoshop workshop 2006
Cloth of Gold ran this holiday workshop over a period of two days at a very well equipped Islington City Learning Centre with approximately 15 students each day (Yrs 8, 9 and 10). Using rubbings, collages, photographs and texture scans as resource materials, the overall concept of the workshop was to create Fantasy landscapes, using object, shapes and textures to create surrealist compositions.
