Cloth of Gold worked with the Maths Department at Queens Park Community School on this cross curricular project.
Cloth of Gold have worked in partnership with the Maths Department at Queens Park Community School to deliver an art and maths project developing pupils' understanding of geometry. This cross curricular project combined basic but precise textile printing processes with image manipulation within Adobe Photoshop and linked pattern making with mirroring, rotating and repeating shapes producing a variety of successful outcomes.
The project was a pilot initiative, run over 12 short sessions, funded by Creative Partnerships.
